Foursquare Tips

  • The Valley Thunder (w/ brisket + Mac n' cheese) is a glorious creation! The kettle chips that came with it are also probably the best I've ever had.
  • Melter skelter - best grilled cheese I've ever had!
  • Grilled cheese game was RIDICULOUS and amazing. "I never knew there was a love like this before until I found some sandwich in the reading terminal."
  • SO. GOOD. The classic with chicken and garlic rub was amazing.
  • Freshest mozzarella in Philly (so says my friend who works here). Ask the friendly staff for advice on how to use their cheeses. Exhibit A: a bit of "apple pie in a jar" smeared on a slice of cheddar.
  • A nice little shop off to the side in Reading Terminal. Highly recommend the Valley Thunder. Perfect taste of tangy brisket, cheese and baked macaroni. Wash it down with a Boylan's birch beer too!
  • This stand in Philadelphias Reading Terminal Market is literally our idea of heaven. Keep it simple or try a seasonal sandwichor try both?
  • Best grilled cheese ever! The real thing! Perfect choice for kids! Nice service, fig and almond cake is very good!
  • Lil shepherd (on the kids menu) is cheesy, mild and amazing.
  • Daughter had the Lil' shepherd and said it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.
  • Go for the brie and cranberry sandwich.
  • Brielle grilled cheese is banging, but classic one is so good too. And the tomato soup.
  • Valley Thunder was tasty but needs a kick. Try it with the pepper relish.
  • I enjoyed the classic grilled cheese the most
  • So I ate valley thunder grilled cheese, then I died and went to heaven
  • Melter skelter is too cheesy for my taste. Caprese salad was okay. Get their hot sauce! Not to be missed.
  • The Valley Thunder Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Valley Thunder (12-month cheddar), Bubbes brisket, and baked macaroni and cheese. Get the ketchup-flavored kettle chips!
  • Got the classic grilled cheese, really good. Not a big fan of their tomato soup though
  • This place is heaven. Try the valley thunder!
  • Definitely worth a try. I had the Vally Thunder (cheddar, brisket and Mac N Cheese). A little pricey at $8.50 (includes Chips) but not too far off from standard Reading Terminal mark-up.
