Foursquare Tips

  • If I were on a deserted island... Mela would be the one restaurant I needed. Chicken tikka masala, onion naan and a mango lassi. Copper colored walls & glitter table tops. This is my happy place.
  • Love the lunch buffet
  • Food is great, but if you want to save money when you eat here get an eGift card from Raise.com. I bought two and there are only a few left. Here's a link to the Raise page: http://bit.ly/10iOZYR.
  • One of the best Indian food places in Boston. Won't give you the runs. Bring friends here and eat slowly.
  • Try the dinner for two. Very flexi and a smart option. Works out very well. The only complaint about this place is they expect a lot of tip or gratuity
  • Avoid the fustercluck of Mela and get the same food at Kashmir!
  • The vegetable samosas are fantastic!
  • Great Indian Food, the best in my point of view. Located in the southend. Boston.
  • get the garlic naan
  • Probably the best Indian buffet I've tried in the Boston area so far. Go on weekends, when they have a greater variety of dishes available (including samosas)!
  • The service leaves much to be desired. I didn't find any genuine warmth the entire time we ate there. Doesn't matter how the food was, I wouldn't want to go back.
  • Loved the bangain bartha! So good! Great garlic naan as well.
  • Try their coconut curry. Pretty effin' good. The rest is pretty good too.
  • Quality indian food!
  • I like the lunch buffet there.
  • Pretty good Indian food. Try the lamb curry.
  • The peshwari naan is simply amazing!
  • All the curry dishes are delicious, and big portions
  • So far all good. Pleasant service, samosas great. Got our free mango lassi. Waiting on our tikka and tandoori.
  • Very delicious indian food! The lamb coconut curry is fabulous!
