Foursquare Tips

  • A swanky restaurant tucked into the Terranea resport in Rancho Palos Verdes, which clings to the cliffs of Los Angeles' South Bay.
  • Order the berry mojito. The bar tender is very creative with wine caps. Ask him to make you a chair ~ it's super cute.
  • mar'sel is open for brunch on Saturdays/Sundays and the salmon plate is delish!
  • @ mar'sel; everything on the menu is amazing.Have the tasting menu. Ask Cameron the Sommelier to pair the courses.
  • The cheese plate comes in two sizzles, small (3) and large (5 cheeses). Served with homemade fig and strawberry jam, walnut bread, English muffins and grapes.
  • Order the famous hamburger and thank me later. It really is that good!
  • CNN Burger List: upscale California gourmet burger. "It was that good."
  • The halibut and steak are amazing. Great service. Pricey but worth it
  • Steve is the new somolier
  • Great soup! Very fast service, authentic recipes and also clean and modern atmosphere. I'd definitely come back again.
  • Food, wine and desserts are amazing! The view of rising moon is breathtaking! Very romantic atmosphere!
  • The Downlow burger still anchors the brunch menu almost literally thanks to a none-too-shy double wage patty thats partitioned with aged white cheddar cheese and caramelized onions.
  • Mojito is good!
  • For such a nice place, the service sucks. The bus boys are more attentive than our server. Whaaaack.
  • Both lunch & brunch shouldn't be missed, notably the signature green eggs and ham, a stack of cured pork belly and fried eggs slid onto toasted brioche and painted with colorful salsa verde.
  • La Poire Rouge martini is a must. They have some good mixologists here.
  • Snake River Farms Wagyu! Stunning!
  • The duck. The duck.
  • Order the fried lamb tongue. You will not regret it. Chef Michael F is the bomb!
  • Been 3 times so far; it's awesome. The Wagyu Ribeye is insane.
