Foursquare Tips

  • The bread's the thing here. Amazing baguettes and sourdough.
  • Very good baguette and financiers
  • The almond croissant is to die for.
  • Perfect place for breakfast meeting, girls lunch/brunch or anything involving parents. Exceptional French desserts and pastries, great steak tartare and excellent gazpacho.
  • Try the chocolate almond croissant! It's incredible!
  • Adored the crabe y guacamole. Perfect nosh for light lunch!
  • One of the best baguettes in the city.
  • Best baguette in the city, no joke.
  • Try the Croque-Monsieur. I promise it's like none you've ever had in NYC. They serve it Tartine style- so not overwhelmingly heavy but incredibly rich
  • best baguette in NYC . The gruyere and swiss cheese bread is outstanding.
  • The beastly Plie au Chocolat features an ample dose of pastry cream and chocolate chips that will give you a first class seat on the Feel-Good Express from the first bite.
  • breakfasts are amazing... killer egg dishes. only complaint is no alcoholic brunch beverages. so if you *need* a mimosa or bloody mary, this isn't the right place.
  • When run of the mill cupcake shops just won't do, head to Maison Kaiser for a tart citron meringue or chocolate eclair. Both perfection.
  • They have other Maison Kayser locations in Manhattan, but I prefer to enjoy my Saint Honore with a coffee either on a bench in Central Park or in their bistro after a visit to the Met (or the Frick!).
  • Delicious French pastries. Obviously the chocolate croissant is a must, but the Yuzu pastry is also good!
  • French onion soup: loaded with yummy drippy gruyere cheese and baked! Messy to eat, stupid to not eat!
  • Super cute, lovely sweets, tasty baguettes and fab macchiato!!
  • Get the salmon fume tartine - delicious!!
  • Best breads and great desserts!
  • Breads are so good -- my faves were the white chocolate brioche and the pan Au gruyere
