Today on the Bite Tonight: Leo’s Coney Island
Located in Allen Park, MI in the Fairlane Green shopping center, or as I like to call it, “the Hill,” is Leo’s Coney Island. Leo’s Coney Island is a chain with over 50 locations spread throughout Michigan. I really like Leo’s because it is more of an upscale coney joint. With a menu including Greek classics, coney traditions, Burgers and sandwiches, soups and salads, breakfast, and even healthy options, it’s no surprise why Leo’s is so successful. Ma and I decided to treat ourselves and go out for breakfast. See how they ranked.

Spinach & Feta Omelet: with hash browns. Tip: Order hash browns well done for a crispy finish. The omelet was cooked perfectly (I hate it when the egg is a little runny). The feta adds a little saltiness to this otherwise light breakfast. The spinach brightens this meal up and doesn’t judge you for eating carbs. The hash browns were nice and crispy.
Service was good and fast. The prices are good and portions are generous. Leo’s is usually busy, which is different from other coney places I’ve been to, but the dining room is larger so you never have to wait to be seated. My favorite thing about Leo’s is that they bottle their delicious Greek dressing. You can purchase this dressing, gift cards, and even order online. How many coney islands offer that level of service?
