The Langham Sydney Opens

Located near Sydney's historic Rocks district and the Central Business District, the former The Observatory Hotel has opened as The Langham, Sydney.

The Langham, Sydney has two restaurants, Galileo and The Globe Bar & Brasserie.

Galileo, the hotel's signature Australian restaurant with a Parisian-style décor and extensive cellar, was acquired during the Langham Group's acquisition of The Observatory Hotel.

New culinary offerings include the Langham's signature afternoon tea at The Globe Bar & Brasserie, which features a décor of wood walls flanked with antique books and dotted with leather armchairs and velvet sofas. The signature afternoon tea, "Tiffin at The Langham," includes Langham's signature tea blends gathered from all over the world. The British afternoon tea includes petite sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and cakes on three-tiered stands.

Amenities at the 96-room luxury hotel include a gym, a 20-meter heated pool, and The Day Spa at The Langham, Sydney.
