Foursquare Tips

  • The aurora sauce is to die for! And in the winter they have a great potato leek soup
  • It might be the best pasta in the neighborhood. Were partial to the Carbonara and the Paglia E Feino con Proscuitto. Check out their store to DIY.
  • The pasta here is pretty good. I'm a regular and I love the aurora sauce!
  • I come here about once a week. Aurora sauce is the best! Get the side BBQ chicken warmed up for you. Cut it up, add it to the penne aurora- Bon appetite!
  • The best sauce is their Aurora sauce mmm
  • Don't stray from the gnocchi with creamy pesto, mostly everything else is on the bland side. Cash only!
  • Delicious pasta but what I usually come here for is the cheese!! Remember- cash only.
  • The lunch special was amazing. For $12 I had a homemade roll, a (delicious) salad, and a big bowl of spaghetti carbonara. Also tried the bolognese lasagna and it was awesome!
  • Quick home style big bowls. Aurora + bolognese on penne every time :)
  • Gnocchi with Pesto. The Chitarrucci pasta are also really good: try them with a bolognese or arrabbiata sauce.
  • Honestly, just don't. Dunno how this place has managed to maintain a 4 star yelp review, but it's golden years are definitely over.
  • One of the best lunch spots in Gramercy.
  • Real talk. Best soup in town.
  • AC's best keep secrete!
  • Get extra cheese
  • the food is so good here! I'd recommend sitting in the cafe and ordering the pumpkin soup - they make it with lots of cream and maple syrup. now that's some serious soup! aye yo!!
  • Great little Italian cheese shop/cafe. Good food. Good staff.
  • Cafe & Restaurant closed on weekends. Stock up on cheese Friday night. Aged Cheddar is a great snack. Tomato soup is a perfect choice as well.
  • Not open weekends!
  • This place is the jam, as it were.
