  • The soup and salad prix fixe is a great light lunch or dinner (includes wine and dessert!) Go for the onion soup.
  • Creme Andolouse soup is to die for!
  • One of my favorite spots on the planet. Everything is absolutely perfect. The lobster bisque and veal stew are delicieux et magnifique! Bon appetit!
  • You can't go wrong with a cheese fondue and French onion soup and EVERYTHING
  • A cozy and low-key spot with an incredible selection of tasty crepes, salads, soups, desserts and coffee. Their soups are truly out of this world! We love the Cream of Tomato and French onion soups.
  • The most boring chicken crepe I had in my life, stay away from it. You are better off getting an empty crepe rather than go through this bland tasteless "crape".
  • Abysmal service. Both agressive and slow. Avoid.
  • Go to La Bonne Soupe for an inexpensive dinner in the Theater District. Get the soup dinner special (the French onion soup's my favorite)
  • Mathieu Palombino, chef of Bowery Diner, eats here on his nights off. He loves the La fondue au fromage.
  • Cuisine honnte. Cependant ce n'est pas vraiment un resto franais. Je vous dconseille le vin au verre. Il n'est pas trs bon.
  • - ! :)

  • You feel like you are in France, everybody here speaks French
  • Hence the name, come for the soupe! The Soupe a l'Oignon meal comes w/ a green salad, dessert & a beverage. The salad dressing is addicting as well as the fondue! Seating is super cozy...
  • Charming and quaint French bistro where you must try their Cobb Salad, topped with gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes or a bowl of their warmingly delicious Soupe A Loignon.
  • Perfect for an outdoors lunch, if you are midtown : nice cider, nice crpes !
  • Best French onion soup ever! Get the combination- it's the perfect meal with a great price, and the house wines are delicious!
  • I've been going here for 25+ years - perfect meal = French Onion Soup & Filet Mignon Au Poivre - comes with a house salad (dressing is fantastic).
  • The andalouse soup is rich and lovely and best enjoyed with a glass of red wine and lots of bread.
