Foursquare Tips

  • Don't for get to tip your bartenders! Good people. Not the normal bourbon street crowd.
  • The balcony is the best spot to eat on Bourbon. The food is to die for!
  • Shrimp and grits!!!
  • Bloody Mary oysters!! Yum
  • I'm not an expert, but these are the best (and most affordable) oysters on Bourbon Street. Maybe even all of New Orleans? Look for Teddy at the oyster bar! Highly recommended
  • Shrimp or Oyster Ya-Ya
  • The OYSTERS...don't leave w/o trying 4 flavors! Try the shrimp & fried green tomatoes. Try the SHRIMP N GRITS. And def try the BREAD PUDDING... they have a #foursquare special!
  • The free fried alligator it was delicious.
  • Magen was totally awesome. When you visit, make sure you ask for her.
  • Try the Bayou Sampler (crawfish touffe, red beans and rice, gumbo, and jambalaya) and Fried Cheesecake. Excellent! A Fais Do Do for the taste buds.
  • The shrimp ya ya and blackened redfish are delicious! Very affordable, good food.

  • The fried alligator is awesome! The deep fried cheesecake is to die for. Best place to eat on Bourbon Street.
  • Teddy is the best. Go see him at the Oyster Bar!
  • Best gumbo in NOLA, hands down. Fried alligator is amazing here too!
  • The Fried Gator is delicious! Get your own order, you'll be fighting over it otherwise.
  • We were going to Acme, but the line was down the block. The caller outside of La Bayou brought us in. I'm glad he did. The server was very nice. Manager was very friendly. And the food was amazing.
  • You gotta talk to Doc. He knows everything about beer. He's a standup comic and really funny. Yes, he knows all 600 beers they have here.
  • Grill Gator the small plate well spend for the experince
  • Try the gator ponchartrain and the jambalaya pasta...mmmm!
