Joe Biden Spotted At Capriotti's Grand Opening In D.C.

Vice President Joe Biden's favorite sandwich shop is now open in Washington, D.C. and he apparently could not be more excited.

Biden made an appearance at the grand opening of Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, an Italian hoagie chain based in Delaware, according to Huffington Post.

Biden used to frequent the shop when he lived in Delaware and was at the opening to pick up lunch for his boss, President Barack Obama.

The veep's order came to $56.25 and included his favorite sandwich (and the chain's best-seller) called The Bobbie. It is made with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayo in a hoagie (and sounds like one of the best Thanksgiving sandwiches ever).

A Capriotti staffer offered to let Biden have his meal for free, but Biden turned it down.

"I'm not taking it. You know what, I've been going to Capriotti's on Union Street for the last 40 years. I have paid every time I've gone... In Delaware, you pay. It's simple," Biden said.

If the Vice President of the United States has been eating here for the past 40 years, it has to be good. Now we are wondering if the President agrees!
