Foursquare Tips

  • Adam stopped by for the oak-roasted pork loin entre and unique Monte Cristo dog. As seen on Travel Channels Man v. Food Nation.
  • The peanut butter pie is my new go-to dessert. Sweet and spicy! Order it a little before you want to eat it though, so it can thaw a bit. There's a good reason they run out often.
  • The peanut butter blaster is ridiculously delicious. Spicy & sweet. Definitely order it!
  • Monte Cristo- holy ... Crap! Worlds greatest hot dog. Jelly on a hot dog may sound strange but it is amazing!
  • RFT 2012 Best of St. Louis Winner - Best Beer Selection in a Restaurant http://bit.ly/T5Egw6
  • The ballistic Elvis sandwich tastes like total garbage. The garbage of someone who only throws away delicious food that strangely tastes amazing when mixed together.
  • Try the potato pancakes. Too legit to quit.
  • Rita rocks. Knowledge of the menu, the city, and funny!
  • If you are home brewer, sit in the bar and see if you can meet the owner, who was a home brewer for 15 years before opening his resturant.
  • Everything I've had there has been excellent. If forced to choose, it'd be a tie between the Delmonico or the pork chop. Stay upstairs for the draft selection, go downstairs for the ambiance.
  • Get you some mussels and you won't be disappointed. Also sample a different beer every time you show up because they've got tons.
  • The Peanut Butter Blaster is just about the greatest thing ever. You need it in your life.
  • Monte Christo! That's all you need to know.
  • You simply can't go wrong. Duck salad is amazing! Bring your big-boy wallet, though as the tab to cover dinner for two with starters, and booze may make your eyes bulge a bit.
  • Everything!!!
  • Great seats for cards watching!
  • Awesome simply awesome Monday night meal with the coolest looking hippy playing killer mood music in the bar...cheers
  • This restaurant marries the best of American recipes with a dive bars and homemade recipes. Always ask what's on special, and try some local beers while you're here.
  • Best of '12: Seafood barley paella at Iron Barley, 5510 Virginia Avenue, St. Louis. Best food in the city! Can you say YUM? asks @Jennifreynolds.
  • Have to have the Schnitzel & Spaetzle. And for dessert the Peanut Butter Blaster Pie.
