Exo (www.exo.co) is pioneering the consumption of insects as a nutritious and sustainable alternative protein source. Exo’s first product is a range of protein bars made with cricket flour, developed by a 3 Michelin Star chef. Since launching a Kickstarter campaign in July 2013, Exo has been featured in media outlets including The New York Times, Fast Company, TechCrunch and The Wall Street Journal.
We’re looking for exceptional interns to assist with our NYC launch this Spring. You’ll gain experience building a natural foods company from the ground up and sleep well knowing that you’re working to shift eating habits in a more sustainable direction. We’re at the forefront of innovation in food, transforming the future of protein, and we need your help.
You’ll work directly with our founding team to execute our roll out plan. Duties will primarily revolve around sales & marketing—identifying and pitching new accounts, conducting in-store demos, guerrilla sampling etc.—but we’re also looking to use any additional skills you might bring the table. Hours are flexible, but a couple of days per week would be ideal.
Passion for our mission and the spheres that Exo intersects—nutrition, food, entrepreneurship and sustainability—is vital. As is wit, charm and an ability to sell. We don’t care about your “working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite”; we’re simply looking for exceptional individuals.
