Nothing is hotter these days than pop ups. You have pop up shops, pop up restaurants and even pop up night clubs. Get ready Bostonians for a unique kind of pop up event: an evening of food, drink, and entertainment. It’s happening at The Hustle on the Harbor, a pop up restaurant and party at Ko Pies in the East Boston Ship Yard.
From the ever so popular duo Hustle Cat, you will be able to dance to 90’s Hip Hop, while wearing your ugly holiday sweaters and enjoying an incredible Asian Porchetta Sandwich (a savory, moist, boneless pork roast with spicy green papaya slaw). That just sounds like a whole lot of awesome to us.
So here’s the deal–on December 9th, from 5:30pm to close, this killer duo consisting of Haley Fortier (Sportello) and Alison Hearn (Steel & Rye, Myers + Chang, B&G Oysters, Ten Tables, etc.) will use the Ko Pie Shop to house this awesome event.
We know that you’ve probably dropped a lot of dough on gifts, calories, and anything else that helps you get through the holiday season, so the best part of all of this is that the event will only cost you $20.
Here’s how it works: for 20 bucks you’ll make a reservation for a 30 min seating to enjoy the Asian Porchetta Sandwich (or Yamwich for you vegie lovers out there), and then head out to the heated tent for a party filled with deliciously hot beverages like mulled cider, games, and as promised, awesome 90’s tunes to dance your face off to.
Who knew winter could be so hot.
