Foursquare Tips

  • On Tuesday nights, they serve $1 pintxos at the bar, meaning if you're not a lush like me, you can have an $8 dinner and try everything on the menu.
  • Order the five-course ($55) menu at Huertas. It offers Chistorra lamb sausage with seared leg of lamb, pork shoulder, scallops with summer squash, fideos with cockles and chorizo, and much more.
  • Robert Sietsema's 3 star review:"The best dish among the raciones is something called migas, featuring tidbits of duck & croutons tossed in a green sauce, with fresh pea shoots on top. Brilliant!"
  • $1 pintxos on Tuesdays means it's the perfect date spot to fill up in a classy way for under $10 a person. Sneaky good wine based cocktails, too.
  • I lived in Spain & everything served here is on point. Try the Men del da for a fancier meal or hang out in the front for lively atmosphere & addictive pintxos (esp tortilla espaol!)
  • Get some Basque-style tapas in the East Village at Huertas. Some things aren't on the menu but, servers come with a platter of lamb meatballs, & butter on toast with raw radish, or fried salt cod.
  • Sit at the bar, enjoy some deliciously curated Spanish wine and the AMAZING pintxos (think Spanish dim sum). The octopus, sardines & mushrooms stand out as clear winners. Delicious & fun atmosphere!
  • One of the best tapas bar in the city right now. Delicious food and a fun concept of passed pinchos. $52 pre fix dinner menu available as well. Also available Spanish conservas - amazing!
  • Las Raciones are amazing - try the Sardines and the Huevos Rotos! Both do flavorful! The Passed Pintxos are great too!
  • Wine is good, grilled octopus is great. Skip the "Huertas rotos."
  • All the conservas
  • Men del dia was great- we practically licked our plates. Only wish that the portions were slightly larger, but overall pretty amazing.
  • During the summer, they open up a weekend window to serve Basque-style hot dogs made with chistorra sausage (pork with paprika) on a potato roll, topped with aioli and piqullo mostardo.
  • Love the passed tapas
  • Though better known for their tapas, don't ignore their absolutely delicious brunch. Get a Calamares Fritos Sandwich or Huertas Rotos with Papas, Sausage, or Bacon. Read more on WinstonWanders below!!
  • food delicious - paired wine excellent but super stingy on the pours
  • Go straight for the passed pintxos if you want variety. The iberico ham here is also quite good.
  • Pintxos are so good!
  • Vermouth cocktails at the bar.
  • You owe it to yourself to get the four course tasting menu. The egg course (up second) will knock your socks off. As will the homemade vermouth. Don't forget to congratulate Nate on your way out!
