Great theater doesn't just happen. It is the culmination of the hard work of dedicated and talented professionals who come together to create and perform well-choreographed productions. Since 1931, the guild has brought life to at least 292 great productions, right in your neighborhood, and all with the help of enthusiastic community volunteers. So if you want to jump into the thespian world, in a way that completely immerses you in the experience, volunteer with KTG. The organization will train you in lighting, sound and set design. Work backstage or paint sets. It needs ushers and concession workers. Or audition. Perhaps you have talents for the stage and bright lights. The Fabulous Fox Theater, a St. Louis institution, has been the city's premier theater with its awe-inspiring architecture, exceptional performances and community support. Stages St. Louis, now entering its 28th season, is more than just a local theater company. It is a non-for-profit company with a deep passion for promoting the musical theater arts. It brings Broadway talent to the city as well as employing St. Louis' finest artists.
