Celebrate a different food holiday everyday in April

Can you believe it’s already April. And by almost spring, I mean almost summer. T-minus 20 days until Pepperdine students

(or at least abroad students) are set free to populate the beaches, trendy restaurants and overpopulate our favorite healthy acai bowl shop, SunLife Organics.

I think this the end of the year calls for a celebration. Kick off the countdown to summer with this awesome guide to honor every food holiday this month.

April 1 – National Sourdough Bread Day

Sourdough bread calls for sandwiches and sandwiches mean grilled cheeses! Try this bombass grilled cheese to kick off the month.

April 2 – National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day

There’s nothing better than PB&J sandwich. Oh wait, there is, this loaded PB&J banana just one-uped your lunchtime sammie.

April 3 – National Chocolate Mousse Day

This mousse is perfect for that late-night chocolate craving that you want to satisfy but don’t want the extra sugar/calories. Healthy, chocolatey and worth the midnight snack.
