This is chili for the purist Texas-style, which means no beans; it's all about the meat. Dubbed "Texas Roadhouse," it's dense and savory with shredded pork and shredded and ground beef.

Shrimp is a mainstay here, notably in a fully loaded po' boy ($13.95). Soaked in hot sauce, lightly floured and fried, the crustaceans are garnished to a T.

Any Heaven on Seven location is amazing. They have great food, the portions are generous, to say the least and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. I would recommend the Corn Blasters (appetizer).

Gumbo was amazing. Had a huge family style smorgasbord for a friend's birthday party, everything I ate here was phenomenal.

Awesome and authentic Cajun food. For extra fun, go during Mardi Gras. Be sure to get the gumbo. And try some of their hot sauces!
