Foursquare Tips

  • Try the fabulous foie gras -- there's probably a cardiologist there on any given night.
  • The most underrated restaurant in the square, pretty much everything is great, but especially skin-on fish if it's on the menu.
  • Enjoy a drink at the bar before dinner. Great service, atmosphere and company!
  • Harvest has a problem. We can never decide when to go: enjoy the dinner? Sunday brunch? If only every conundrum were this tasty
  • While your at Harverst go say hello to Tarek at The Tannery. He loves Harvest!
  • Try the three-course Sunday brunch for $35.
  • The sweet potato something something noodle appetizer is out of this world. So good.
  • try the crab beignets & open faced egg salad sandwich ... outdoor seating is lovely!
  • Sit on the bar side and get to choose from bar AND main menus.
  • Breakfast Martini!!!
  • This is the place where you have dinner with your parents, your graduating kids or your significant other if that significant other is from Harvard. Cozy, quiet, elegant service. No surprises.
  • Duck and very user friendly wine list. I'd you appear confused they will bring out three options to try.
  • Food is great but fairly heavy on calories so take it easy. Service and staff is boarderline slow and could be friendlier.
  • The staff turnover rate is low meaning that it's a happy place. Always bodes well for good food and service.
  • Venison was fantastic.
  • The focaccia bread is SO. GOOD. the baby kale salad is great.
  • Get the basil tagliatelle and peach cake
  • Sit outside if you can--but watch out for falling...acorns?
  • We loved the Seafood Ceviche & Scallop Crudo. Field Strawberry & Lavender Salad, and the English Pea Agnolotti.
  • Chef Mary Dumont's cooking is rooted in the canon, but with a light, modern touch: Think venison carpaccio crusted in Sichuan peppercorns, or skate with fennel, chestnuts, and pumpkin.
