Foursquare Tips

  • If it were just fish and chips and chowdah, we'd still be won over; but everything you'd think you're on one of the coasts. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Try the squid-ink gnocchi in carrot broth from our 100 Best list: Chef Giuseppe Tentori is first and foremost an Italian & where he really shines is with pastas such as this rich yet delicate gnocchi.
  • One of my fave places in CHICAGO & certainly the best Boka group restaurant
  • Chef oyster and biscuits and gravy... Yum...
  • If the Oyster Po' Boy Sliders came in a crave case, we'd buy it. There's no question as to why fried oysters with kimchi and peanuts are simply the best. Two words: flavor explosion.
  • Screw Maine and Nantucket. GT's lobster roll is better than any lobster roll that I have eaten back east.
  • You can't go wrong here. Oyster shooters are a must as are the halibut, grilled Caesar salad, fish tacos and lobster mac. Sparkling Rose is a wonderful accompaniment.
  • The ceviche may be small, but it's a delicious appetizer to share!
  • Cold bites such as Baja shrimp bruschetta & sunfish ceviche are served alongside a variety of oysters & hot items such as Tasmanian ocean trout & lobster pot pie. Non-fish items also available.
  • Oyster sliders, da bomb.
  • Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Octopus and oyster po boy sliders were standouts.
  • Everything we had here was awesome. Fish tacos, clam chowder, oysters and the lemonade is muy bueno!
  • Always be sure to ask about the oysters they have off the menu that day!
  • Try the Clam Chowder - Great bacon essence for this soup #BibCHI
  • Half price oysters are now Sunday-Friday after 10pm. Good deal for great oysters
  • Get the tuna poke, fish tacos, hamachi and escolar. Maybe even the lobster Mac n cheese
  • Chef Giuseppe Tentori creates shore classics, Baja shrimp bruschetta ($11) - pink grapefruit, curls of seared shrimp bed down with avocado, chopped pistachios, lime and cilantro.
  • They always have lots of off menu oyster options that are amazing, just ask.
  • Dining editor Penny Pollack says the black gnocchi with prawns and fava beans rocked, especially the fava bean part. Check out this photo.
  • Oysters (obviously), lobster roll, oyster po'boy, eggplant. Always crowded and great spot for lunch, brunch, or dinner.
