Everything was fantastic. Shells and cheese. Fried quail with buttermilk and honey. Salmon and butter bean salad. Chocolate and pecan tart served with local ice cream ( wholly cow? ). Wow. Thanks!

The menu features local, seasonal specials but the standards like Deviled Eggs, Gumbo and the decadent Fries with Béarnaise are always great choices. [Eater 18 Member]

Try the Caramel Pie - The crust was the best part, IMHO. The pie itself was the second best. (via @Foodspotting)

Try the Creamy Anson Mills Corn Grits - Having lived in the South my entire life, I've never tasted anything like this ever before. Highly recommend! (via @Foodspotting)

The creamed corn has bacon in it. You should eat it.

Pork loin po boy was more of a trumped up ham sandwich. Tasty enough but not nearly as good as the fried quail - that's a definite winner.

Great food. Great table cards.

Take some pimiento cheese to go! Has a little kick to it that takes it up a notch!

Another Diners, Drive-ins and Dives restaurant off my list. Awesome food. I ate all of mine plus whatever the wife didn't finish. Salted Caramel pie and banana pudding is awesome!

The smoked chicken with sweet potatoes and grits were a flavor explosion in my mouth. I definitely recommend it.
