I’m big on cards — always have been. I was never one of those kids to rip the wrapping paper off and leave the card in the abyss.
The card is the sentiment — it’s the thought behind the gift and it’s the opportunity to express yourself to the person you’re giving it to. On Mother’s Day, a card is pretty important, don’t you think?
Think about all of the times your mother told you she loved you, or when she picked you up from practice, made you your favorite meal, and told you the same bedtime story night after night because you were enamored with it.
That’s why your mom deserves the best card ever — for all of those reasons she was there for you… and then some.
We wouldn’t be doing our jobs if we provided just a plain old assortment of greeting cards fit for the occasion. So in The Daily Meal fashion, we’re showcasing our favorite food-inspired ones to give to the lady who loves to bake, loves her glass of wine at the end of the day, or just simply loves to eat.
