Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne are co-founders of the hit DC cupcakery, Georgetown Cupcake. The sisters have taken a single dessert and carved a lifestyle out of it as stars in TLC's DC Cupcakes, as well as authors of bestseller The Cupcake Diaries and soon-to-be-released book, Sweet Celebrations. Their cupcakes feature an inward swirl of frosting that is both distinctive and attractive. A must-try flavor is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl, a Valrhona chocolate cupcake with a creamy peanut butter core topped with a rich Callebaut chocolate ganache icing and a peanut butter swirl. — Marilyn He, 11/8/2012

This is the line in which you wait for cupcakes. Cupcakes can be had by waiting in this line. After a while of waiting, cupcakes are available for purchase.

Seriously? Waiting in line in the rain for a cupcake? Non. There's a Paul bakery on Wisconsin with much more delicious treats. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Three words: Worth the wait. So good, you won't be disapointed. And don't believe the rumors, it's not $10 for a cupcake, it's only $2.75, which is less than the $3 most cupcake places are charging.

1. Baked and Wired, 2. Sprinkles, and then Georgetown Cupcake. The TV show adds to the hype. Not as good as everyone says. Definitely not good enough to stand in line for.
