Foursquare Tips

  • Tip well - that's my tip ;-)
  • Pick up Iron Chef Jose Garces signature coffee, small-batch roasted in nearby Lambertville, NJ.
  • Can buy a bottle of wine until 10pm. Open later than any state store in city.
  • Get the artichoke dish at this Iron Chef spot. We're also way into the Pig's Head Carpaccio. Give it a shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
  • It's a market, it's a restaurant, it's a wine shop...and it's all really good. From the pizza to the charcuterie you can't go wrong with this Iron Chef Jose Garces eatery.
  • Sunday brunch has a $25 three course tasting menu, be sure to get the assorted cookies for desset, also buy a jar of truffle honey as you leave.
  • Highly recommend a stop in Philly to try Garces. Great Concept bring friends to have even a better experience. Steak Frites was awesome. Fries are cooked in Duck Oil. Sister Amada is also great. Tapas
  • The cheeses are unbelievably amazing! Any and all of them! Also, the pizza with serrano ham has ricotta cheese that melts in your mouth.
  • The best way to order here is to share a bunch of dishes with your table. And don't forget to sample cheese and oils before being seated!
  • Get the vichyssoise, you won't regret it!
  • Overpriced but I dig the embedded wine shop
  • Weekend brunch includes first course (marinated baby artichokes, a pastry) and a second course (shirred eggs, chocolate chip pain perdu), chef's choice for dessert and a non-alcoholic drink.
  • The funghi pizza is great, and so is the papradelle with lamb ragu.
  • Try the baby artichoke app, lemony and delicious. Also had the Spanish sandwich, was not disappointed!
  • Deep dish pizza with meatballs. Oh. Em. Gee.
  • Yum...Everything. Yum.
  • The hostess here is either really rude or really dumb. Came in, with reservations on a Thurs. for an anniversary and she sat us at a terrible table & broke a glass on my girlfriend. We left.
  • Ask for Steve. Get the house specialty: steak frites. Enjoy a nice cut of meat with a great sauce, topped with tasty fries. The best part? It's endless... so worth it
  • Food blogger Janice of Gigabiting recommends Garces Trading Company. "The plats du jour feature smartly updated classics such as coq au vin, short rib and oxtail lasagna, and the citys best paella."
  • Garces has a great Sunday brunch deal that you should not pass up! 3 delicious courses for $25? YES PLEASE
