Fourth of July Patriotic Packages
Last-minute Fourth of July jaunts
The planning for parades, fireworks, and backyard barbecues from sea to shining sea is well underway, but last-minute travelers can still plan a patriotic getaway.
If you can’t celebrate the Fourth of July in a patriotic town like Liberty, Mo. (population 29,149), Independence, Mo. (population 116, 830), New Freedom, Pa. (population 4,464) or American Fork, Utah (population 26,263), you can still celebrate the day in 1776 that the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress with a patriotic package at hotels across the U.S.
From private fireworks shows to Revolutionary-themed walking tours, hotels are rolling out the red, white, and blue carpet for summer travelers.
