Foursquare Tips

  • Delicious food from scratch and from produce grown locally.
  • Our soups, salads, and sides are all hand made from scratch. We pack our own pickles, bake our own beans, and make our own mustard.
  • The chicken tortilla soup is one of the best in town and we love their stellar cold concoctions like watermelon gazpacho and chilled cucumber mango.
  • Reader tip: Five soups made daily, beautiful patio, old house, best sandwiches in town.
  • I would happily sell a baby kitten as tiger food if that were the only way to pay for food here. That's how good it is.
  • Crazy condiments (ever had Bagna Cauda on a sandwich?) and creative combinations make FoodHeads a North Campus favorite; we just wish they were open a little longer. [Eater 38 Member]
  • The Gypsy Grove is a guilty pleasure.
  • Ate the Lamb Sandwich (has eggplant, feta & arugula) & can I just say frickin amazing! Wish they were one of our restaurants @TheLunchDeal!
  • If wild Ahi tuna sandwich is on special, don't hesitate. Also their "Zippy Mustard" is spicy and tangy, love it so much I once ordered a pint to keep at home. Chewy homemade cookies. Delish soups.
  • Chicken and eggplant is da'bomb
  • Pay by cash and get a cash punch card. After 12 punches you get 1 free sandwich or 3 free tacos!
  • If you're thinking veggie sandwich, go crazy and just ask for all the toppings. They get the ratios just right. Be bold. It's worth it.
  • Roast Beef, Brie, Tomatoes, Greens, Honey Dijon, On Toasted French Bread.
  • Get the grilled salami and fresh mozzarella sandwich and you will absolutely not regret it. Delicious, filling, and affordable.
  • Chicken and eggplant. That's all you need.
  • Nothing is done wrong here, especially the chicken special.
  • Everythings homemade and very tasty at this quirky sandwich shop nestled in an historic house. We especially like the apple pork on ciabatta and the addictive blackberry balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Fish. Tacos. Yes.
  • Pulled pork is rad.
  • Underrated gem near campus. Probably the best sandwiches in town...but that's no knock against anything else on the menu, I've never had a bad meal here.
