Food-Loving Couple Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Wed

Surprise! They're married.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and actor Ryan Reynolds turned heads over the weekend when a local South Carolina radio station announced that the couple tied the knot in the Southern city.

Here's what we know so far:

• Lively and Reynolds were married at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C., under a white tent that seated 60 guests.

• The family stayed at The Planters Inn, a luxury hotel in downtown Charleston.

• A Charleston-based wedding planner confirms exclusively to The Daily Meal that since the couple lives in Bedford, N.Y., they used an out-of-town wedding planner and the wedding cake was shipped in from Virginia for the festivities.

• FIG, a sustainable restaurant in downtown Charleston, catered the affair.

• The bride wore a custom Marchesa gown and Christian Louboutin shoes, and the groom wore a Hugo Boss suit.

• Florence Welch, a dear friend of Lively's, performed a set of three songs. Bette Midler performed as well. The menu hasn't been revealed yet, but after taking a look through this couple's dining history, we're pretty certain the food was fabulous and there was ice cream included.

Lively stated earlier this year to Marie Claire, "To be around me, you must love food or I'm the most obnoxious person you've ever met."

As we wait for the details, let's take a look at the couple's food-loving past.

October 2011: Lively visited Reynolds on the set of his upcoming Boston-based film, R.I.P.D., over his birthday weekend, where she tied dozens of rainbow balloons to her maltipoo, Penny, to surprise him on set. The couple later celebrated his big day with friends at Carriage House at Palma Restaurant in Manhattan's West Village, with the party continuing at The Box for burlesque entertainment and cocktails.

November 2011: While still on location in Boston, Reynolds and Lively dined on caviar and oysters on the half shell at L'Espalier. After starters, they had clam chowder, beet salad, lobster, halibut, and soufflé for dessert.

December 2011:
• At a Connecticut holiday festival, the couple stopped into Deborah Ann's Sweet Shoppe, where they sampled ice cream flavors before deciding on English Toffee and Chocolate Fudge Brownie — two scoops, one cup — to share.
• Lively spent the holidays with Reynolds' family and they visit a local cupcake shop to pick up treats for dessert.
• The couple had brunch in New York City's Lower East Side with Lively's sister and brother-in-law. On the menu: donuts, breakfast tacos, bacon-egg-and-cheese biscuits, pierogis, and muffins. Afterward, they strolled to the West Village for coffee at Mojo on Charles Street.

January 2012: The couple, who met on the set of their movie The Green Lantern, spent time together off-screen, hanging out in New Orleans. The duo visited an ice cream parlor, Creole Creamery, and ate the sweet stuff as well as beignets. They were also spotted at the city's famed Café du Monde.

March 2012: After spending the day at Disneyland, the couple grabbed ice cream and lunch and headed to a Los Angeles park to picnic.

April 2012: The couple of six months headed to a popular Mexican spot in Los Angeles, Casa Vega. They ate great food and danced the night away.

May 2012: While visiting Reynolds' family in Vancouver, the couple made reservations at fine dining spot The Observatory, but ultimately switched to a more casual and intimate location — Altitudes Bistro. The party of seven snacked on complimentary appetizers while the couple played Tic-Tac-Toe in coloring books.

June 2012: After purchasing a country home in Bedford, N.Y., Lively and Reynolds stocked up on groceries at a local grocery store and on housewares at Anthropologie.

July 2012: Another ice cream date: This time at King Kone in Somers, N.Y.

August 2012: The couple celebrated Lively's 25th birthday at Serendipity 3 in New York City. They dined on of the restaurant's signatures — Peanut Butter Frrrozen Hot Chocolate and hot fudge sundaes with sides of peanut butter.
