Food Hound: Tidbits - Lee Gribben's On Main

First of all, Lee Gribben's On Main is NOT as bad as most of the people writing reviews are putting out there. There is a bar, a bunch of seating, and a private room. The atmosphere is nice with interesting pieces of art along the walls. On the night the Hound family went, it was the after party for The Great Allentown Comic Con. There were celebrities, and a few included in our group, so we got seated in the private area in the back. Our waiter was awesome, extremely interactive with our group and a pleasure to have hang out with us.

The food! I wouldn't be able to say this is bar food, it is a whole lot better. The menu is extensive with a lot of different choices. There is also the cocktail menu, which features many interesting martinis and other drinks. We had a large portion of our crew with us, so we tried a whole bunch of different appetizers. There were some nachos, stuffed mushrooms, quesadilla, Thai shrimp... it was all so good! Some of the servings were smaller than others, but we all got to try a little of everything. The shrimp disappeared the fastest, next to the mushrooms. The nachos were awesome with pulled pork in the mix, and how sweet it was!

As the night rolled on, a few friends joined us in the back and our relaxing hang out became the life of the party happening in the place. We didn't mind at all, as long as everyone was having fun! Then our main dishes came out, and let me tell you, they were awesome. Sliders (crabcake, pulled pork, beef patty), meatloaf (HUGE), chicken francese, crabcake, steak... everything was spectacular.

This place is a lot of fun t go to, with extremely friendly service, delicious food, great drinks, and enough space to fit a party of 10 (and probably more) comfortably.
