Foursquare Tips

  • Mark. M is the best host, waiter/server there. He is one heck of a hard worker.
  • For parties of 12 or more, call restaurant 24-48 hours. For the rest, first come, first serve. Tony Madriaga is a very good server and host.
  • The Italian dressing is great as a dipping sauce!
  • Truly the best pizza I think that I have ever had....definitely not stingy with the cheese.
  • Parking in the rear with an entrance too!!
  • Best filippis in San Diego! Amazing pizza and The Italian dressing is to die for. Dip everything in it and get extra to dip your left overs in!
  • The lasagna is AMAZING!!
  • Friday night's between April-September downtown Escondido is nuts with traffic due to Crusin' Grand. If you want to swing by and grab a pizza to go - DO NOT do it on a Crusin' evening!
  • It makes a good pizza, but it doesn't really compete with Round Table or Shakey's, but a good pizza.
  • Everything is great here. Pizza, pasta it's always too much. I've always had leftovers. Food for later.
  • Pizza is always so yummy! We've been coming here for years!
  • We the pizza from here, it was a big serendipity for us. We arrived at 9pm to escondido and the place that we had in mind has kitchen closed. We found filippi's and really love it!!
  • Pizza is the best!
  • The super sub made hot with Italian dressing amazing
  • Best food in the world and the greatest waitresses in the world!!!!
  • Excellent Italian food!
  • For an extremely cheesy pizza it was actually not that bad. Service was great and food was too. The place has really dimmed lights so it gives off a calm vibe.
  • Antipasto and pizza
  • Ignore Joe's tip because this is the BEST and tastiest pizza in town!!!
  • Overall bland pizza. I don't feel that any love goes into making the dough or sauce. Adding mounds and mounds of cheese doesn't make a pizza good. Pizza Port & Roundtable beat this place hands down.
