Foursquare Tips

  • Come to Fado and have a Guiness and watch European Live Football!
  • With a robust soccer offering, Fado Irish Pubs provide fans with an authentic U.S. Soccer experience with the flair of a traditional Irish Pub.
  • Great place to watch South Africa play rugby! Go Springboks!
  • 6 Nations Rugby Championship will be shown here. A favorite among Chicago rugby fans, the pub has hosted signings with pro team Munster and the USA team.
  • Beer of the month is Smithwicks
  • Get the beer here it's cold
  • Nice atmosphere but beware the overpriced drinks. $7.50 for a very small pour of whiskey? Was it even an ounce? I'll bet you a $7.50 shot of Bushmills that it wasn't. Too corporate to be cool at Fad.
  • Great place to go and watch English Premier League games on Saturday mornings, always a good atmosphere, good beers on draught and a great all day Irish breakfast.
  • The atmosphere is rustic, but there is ample outdoor seating that isn't dark & dated. The cocktails are good, if overpriced. The food looked gr8, but fell down here and there in the taste department.
  • Keep ordering drinks till you get a US Soccer pint glass... um, and then sneak it out in your girlfriend's purse. ps: great soccer bar!
  • Good pour...get a pint
  • The only place to find a Kilkenny in the Midwest. Not a bad pub either.
  • Irish music please
  • Haven't been there for trivia night. But this place is amazing. From the atmosphere, the people, the food and the drinks. Hands down the best Irish pub in Chicago.
  • Fado offers a great Major League Soccer experience with a traditional Irish Pub atmosphere. Come on down to see your Chicago Fire in action - This is an official MLS Pub! http://www.mlssoccer.com/fa
