Foursquare Tips

  • This is the site of the oldest continually operating bar in the city (opened originally in 1895).
  • Do not get the BLT. Unless you want to dream of thick slices of heavenly bacon and avocado for weeks on end until your return.
  • 2 for 1 from bar menu on Mondays is great! We love the bbq pulled pork!
  • Smoked salmon BLT....top ten last meal wishes.
  • Delicious al fresco dining by day, classic yet chic scene by night. Plus bar stays open later than most in town. Woohoo!
  • Great outdoor space, but the food and service was sub par... Lobster roll tasted like tin and the fries were old and hard. Since the weather is getting cold, I will not be coming back.
  • Great place. Adults - which for Hoboken is rare. Steak au poive and steak frites are winners. Great apps and fair prices. Come often.
  • Bloody's are great.
  • Ordered "short ribs" got pot roast, flavor good, meat like buble gum
  • great weekend brunch spot!
  • Best pork chop in Hoboken period.
  • Try the Pimm's Cup. Cucumber delight.
  • Lobster Roll had a bug in it and chunks of the shell mixed in. Gross. And no free refills for the Pepsi? Really?? Come on!
  • That guy who said Rounders was filmed here is retarded. It was Sleepers with Kevins Bacon.
  • Ask for bread, it's only served on request.
  • Check out the live entertainment, especially Dean Scala one Friday night per month. And hopefully Martin & Craig will be back sometime.
  • Every Wednesday night Elysian offers a $25 per person (plus tax and gratuity) Prix-Fixe Dinner which includes a bottle of wine for two guests. Menu changes weekly. Find more deals at postabon.com!
  • two-for-one bar menu items on Monday nights
  • Wine list was decent. Cakebread wine was priced well-- go for that. Portions are excellent and decent in quality. Ambiance is an 8. Service is great!
  • Oldest bar and restaurant in Hoboken. Opened originally as Dillenger & Jeffsons in 1895. "Rounders" was filmed here. Get a Croquet Madame or an Eggs Benedict with Pomme Frites
