Downtown's Fritzi restaurant has launched a new Danish inspired Sunday brunch. Guests can choose from a three portion or five portion menu.

Manuela Opens in Downtown LA
Manuela, a new restaurant serving seasonal soul food cuisine has opened in downtown LA with weekend brunch service beginning October 1 from 11 am to 5 pm and lunch service beginning October 5 Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.

Bug Themed Pop Up Opens in Santa Monica
Western Exterminator has teamed with Mondo Taco to open a pop up restaurant on Saturday October 8 from 11:30 am  to 3:30 pm at the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade.  Menu items include dishes highlighting grasshoppers, beetles and crickets.

Islands Offers NFL Happy Hour Specials
Throughout football season, Islands restaurants will offer loaded nachos, wings, sliders and drinks for under $10 Monday and Thursday from 4 to 10 pm and all day Sunday.

Casa Vega Celebrates 60th Anniversary on October 6
In honor of its 60th anniversary, Casa Vega will offer a specially priced lunch on October 6. The House Combo, featuring a choice of two items including chile rellano, chicken taco, beef taco, beef enchilada or tamale, will be priced at $2.15.

Santa Monica's Belcampo Meat Co. has launched Offal-tober for the month of October. The month long celebration of offal features a menu of head to tail snacks and a menu spotlighting some cuts of meat that often get overlooked, they include chicken liver pate, lamb heart tartar, chicken heart skewers and tongue and cheek tacos.

Top LA Chef Team Up With LA Rams to Fight Hunger
Top LA Chefs including Neal Fraser, Duff Goldman, Susan Feniger and others will team with the LA Rams for the Taste of the NFL event on October 5 at the Globe Theatre at Universal Studios Hollywood from 6 to 9 pm. All ticket sales and auction money raised benefits the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Tickets can be purchased at www.lafoodbank.org.
