BOA Steakhouse has launched new dishes highlighting winter ingredients including smoked salmon on a potato dill waffle, thyme smoked beef carpaccio, charred tuna tartare and roasted marrow bones.

DineLA Winter Restaurant Week Begins January 18
Over 300 Los Angeles restaurants will offer specially priced lunches and dinner during DineLA's winter restaurant week from January 18 through January 31.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria Offers New Menu Items
Grimaldi's Pizzeria in El Segundo is starting off 2016 with a new pizza and beverage pairing and seasonal selections.  In January, diners can enjoy a sausage, meatball and pepperoni pizza paired with a Lagunitas IPA.  Additionally, the restaurant has added a new amaretto cheesecake to their dessert menu.

Little Sister Opens Downtown
Little Sister, Chef Tin Vuong's sixth Los Angeles restaurant, has opened downtown.  The new eatery highlights Hong Kong style café cuisine and Chinese charcuterie.

Recess Eatery Opens in Highland Park
Recess Eatery, a 5,000 square foot old school cafeteria inspired restaurant, will open in Highland Park on January 18.

Roku Debuts New Teppanyaki Dining
WeHo's Roku restaurant has added a teppanyaki dining experience where chefs grill dishes in front of diners.  Teppan chefs will offer specialty dishes including filet mignon with foie gras and truffle and lobster with uni butter.

Slapfish Restaurant Chain Launch Slapfit Healthy Menu
Chef Andrew Gruel of the Slapfish restaurant chain has launched a new healthy "slapfit" menu including a clobfish bowl with crab, lobster, vegetables and brown rice; power greens with salmon over steamed quinoa and kale and a power burrito with grilled salmon and super greens.

Smitten Ice Cream Opens in El Segundo
San Francisco's favorite Smitten Ice Cream has opened its first LA shop in El Segundo. The ice cream chain also plans to open a second LA location in Silverlake in summer 2016.
