Since 2000, Taste of Tennis has celebrated the lead-up to the U.S. Open with a full weekend of events. Tickets are already on sale for the events, which will be held on August 26 to 29, and we’re bringing you a way to get 10 percent off your tickets to two of this year’s most anticipated events.

By going to the Eventbrite link and using promo code DailyMeal, you’ll get 10 percent off your ticket to the Celebrity Chef Tennis Challenge (regular price $100), in which chefs including Marc Murphy, Jonathan Waxman, Kerry Heffernan, Floyd Cardoz, Daniel Holtzman, and Bill Telepan will battle each other at the City View Racquet Club before an awards reception; as well as the headline gala Taste of Tennis (regular price $275), a walk-around tasting event to be held at the W Hotel on August 27. Twenty-five of the city’s finest chefs will showcase their top dishes at Taste of Tennis, including all of the above-named chefs as well as Alfred Portale, François Payard, and Jimmy Bradley. Cocktails will be free-flowing, and guests can expect live music and interactive sponsor experiences, as well as a cooking demo with Murphy and two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Philadelphia chef Eli Kulp, who was in the process of opening a New York restaurant when he was critically injured in the recent Amtrak derailment.

Party With the Pros, the festival’s third event (tickets cost $150), will be held on Saturday, August 29 at Langham Place Fifth Avenue, and guests will enjoy great food, delicious signature cocktails, and the opportunity to rub elbows with some of tennis’ hottest stars.

Tennis and fine dining aren’t an obvious pair, but you’ll be very happy they decided to partner up after attending Taste of Tennis.
