Los Angeles' Trendy Katsuya Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary With Celebrity-Inspired Platter

Southern California's trendy Japanese restaurant Katsuya is celebrating a decade in business and to commemorate the anniversary, master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi has put together a sushi platter unlike any other. Chef Katsuya has made the ultimate sushi platter by bringing together the most popular dishes that celebrities — which include Leonardo DiCaprio, Reese Witherspoon, and my girl Taylor Swift  continually come back for time and time again.

Known for his stylish, innovative, and expert takes on traditional Japanese sushi, chef Katsuya is considered a trendsetter in the sushi world. With the sleek, upscale interior of this unique restaurant, it's no wonder its one of the hotspots to dine at in Los Angeles.

The top 10 dishes that make up the grand platter include:
Crispy Brussels sprouts with a balsamic soy reduction and toasted almonds; creamy rock shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce; edamame tossed lightly with salt; sautéed shishito peppers; crispy rice with spicy tuna (the dish Katsuya is most famous for); baked crab hand rolls with the chef's signature sauce, which is then wrapped with rice in soy paper; spicy albacore sashimi with crispy onion; yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño; the special Katsuya roll, which comes with a variety of fresh fishes such as tuna, yellowtail, salmon, scallop, and crab, along with avocado wrapped with rice, soy paper, and cucumber, served with wasabi ponzu on the side; and finally miso-marinated black cod, a Katsuya signature dish.

The original location, Katsuya Brentwood, as well as the other outposts in Miama and LA, will be offering its patrons this unique sushi platter throughout the month of June as part of its 10-year anniversary celebrations.
