Food & Wine Editor-In-Chief Dana Cowin Leaves Post For New Role With Chefs Club International

Dana Cowin, the longtime editor in chief of Food & Wine magazine and one of The Daily Meal's most influential moms in food, will leave her post of 21 years for a new position as the chief creative officer of Chefs Club International, the parent company of Chefs Club by Food & Wine.

In her new role, Cowin will oversee the strategic expansion of Chefs Club restaurants around the United States and the world, as well as the brand's marketing strategies, according to a press release from Chefs Club International.

Cowin will also be responsible for curating the organization's visiting chefs program, which will connect prominent chefs with Chefs Club venues.

"We are tremendously excited to have Dana join our strong team," said Stephane De Baets, president of Chefs Club. "Just as superstar DJs play in clubs around the world, and visual artists show in multiple galleries, contemporary star chefs will have increasing opportunities to cook for dedicated audiences, like those at Chefs Club. No one has done more to recognize and build awareness of star chefs than Dana has over the last 20 years."

Cowin will remain at Food & Wine until January and will help the magazine to choose her successor.
