Brunch, Oysters, And More: What's New At The Lower East Side's Stanton Social

A favorite of the downtown crowd since opening its doors back in 2005, the Lower East Side's Stanton Social is known for their chic atmosphere and menu of high-end comfort items like French onion soup dumplings, kobe beef sliders, and potato and goat cheese pierogies. After 10 years, they've decided to shake things up by adding some enticing specials to what the venue has to offer. Here's the rundown:

New Cocktail Menu
The restaurant has unveiled a new beverage program, keeping in line with the old favorites, but also introducing some amazing new cocktails to the menu. It's spearheaded by Mixologist Dante Alston, who claims that the new program is "the essence of freedom, sharing, and being social." Standouts include the Notorious F.I.G. (Bulleit bourbon, fresh fig, pear-cinnamon syrup, and fresh lemon) and The Swashbuckler (Sailor Jerry rum, Canton ginger liqueur, honey lavender syrup, and fresh lemon).

Oyster Happy Hour
Oysters aren't only for the summertime — Stanton Social now offers a $1 oyster happy hour every day from 5 to 8 p.m. and after 11 p.m. in the bar and lounge. They pair well with the half-off select wines and beers you can score during those times, too.

The Stanton SociaLight Brunch
Right in time for the crisp weather, the restaurant has launched a brand new brunch that is perfect for all of those leisurely weekend meals. With specials such as Croque Monsieur 'satays' with mini brioche, country ham, Gruyère, and Muenster cheese, and peanut butter and jelly 'Twinkie's,' there is something on the menu for every indulgence.
