Big Brew NY Beer Festival Coming To Tarrytown On July 11

Calling all beer lovers! If an afternoon spent on the grounds of a castle sampling more than 200 craft beers sounds like your idea of a good time, then don't miss out on the Big Brew NY Beer Festival, happening this Saturday, July 11, at Tarrytown's Lyndhurst Mansion.

More than 75 different breweries (many of them local) will be on hand, including Allagash, Avery, Bell's, Ommegang, Dogfish Head, Founders, KelSo, Sly Fox, Lagunitas, Troegs, Two Roads, and Victory, and they'll each be serving two-ounce pours. Expect there to be lots of summer seasonals, wheat beers, and IPAs, as well as several varieties of cider.

All that beer will certainly work up an appetite, so several food trucks will park nearby: Handsome Devil (serving pulled pork, ribs, and mac and cheese), Ma & Pa's Tex-Mex BBQ (serving tacos, tostadas, tortas, and nachos), DeCicco & Sons (serving lobster rolls, meatball sliders, and kielbasa), and Kath's Catering (serving sausages and chicken kebabs). A mechanical bull will also be on hand for those who can stomach it!

The event will go from 1 to 5 p.m., under tents on the grounds of Lyndhurst. Tickets can be purchased here; enter code "DAILYMEAL" and save $10 off the $70 ticket price!
