10th Anniversary Of Vegas Uncork'd Brings Top Chef Personalities To The Strip

Vegas Uncork'd, the ultimate food and wine experience, brought over 70 of the world's top chefs and mixologists to Las Vegas from April 28 to May 1. Chefs Gordon Ramsay, Guy Savoy, Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse, Michael Mina, Rick Moonen, and Giada De Laurentiis hosted and attended events at The Cromwell, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, and The Palazzo resorts.

Some of the highlights included:

Caesars Palace hosted a sensory luncheon where diners were blindfolded and ate dishes including Iberico tartines, white gazpacho, and le oeuf passard in the dark.

Master chef Nobu Matsuhisa taught diners how to roll sushi and sip sake like a pro at Nobu. The tasting menu included yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, Japanese snapper, and black cod in butter lettuce.

The Venetian's db Brasserie and chef Daniel Boulud hosted a seasonal vegetarian lunch including spring pea soup, baked beets, and a wild mushroom vol-au-vent.

The Too Hot Tamales Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger hosted a cooking class at Border Grill located in The Forum Shops which included specialty cocktails, grilled fish tacos, and spicy chicken tamales.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar hosted a dinner including a Southern infused happy hour with bourbon, beer, and bites. Hour d'oeuvres included suckling pig rillettes, BLT coqueta, deviled eggs, and mini chicken and waffles.

Over 2,000 guests attended The Grand Tasting at Caesars Palace's Garden of the Gods featuring dishes from more than 50 world-renowned chefs.

Buddy V's Ristorante at The Venetian hosted a Saturday morning brunch with panettone French toast, Tuscan style potatoes, steak and egg sliders, a seafood station, caviar ice bar, and an extensive bloody mary bar.

Chef Giada De Laurentiis hosted a brunch at her restaurant Giada at The Cromwell. Dishes included arugula and pancetta salad, lobster hash and Italian chicken and waffles.

Francois Payard hosted a master class in French pastries at Payard Patisserie and Bistro where guests learned how to make coconut sable, biscotti, and chocolate macaroons.

Chef Gordon Ramsay hosted a "Beat the Heat" event at Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill where guests dined on seared scallops, grilled lamb, and roasted New York strip steak.

Twenty four events were held over the four day event.
