Enjoy Hard Cider And New York's Fresh Air In A One-Of-A-Kind Treehouse Bar

If you've never watched Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters, you're missing out. It's legit one of my favorite shows. That said, hard apple cider is one of my favorite (alcoholic) beverages. When the two collide, what do you get? Treehouse designer extraordinaire Pete Nelson designing and building a treehouse bar on the Angry Orchard Hard Cider Company's actual apple orchard, called Walden orchard. (No, Angry Orchard's orchard is not named 'Angry.')

The recently built treehouse bar can hold 25 people and was built in a 100-year-old white pine tree that towers over more than 60 acres of beautiful apple trees. The rustic, open air space features a four-tap hard cider bar that will be used for release parties and other fun events that necessitate the coolest treehouse bar ever.

Nelson's team built the Angry Orchard bar in just over two weeks at the beginning of May. And lucky for us, visitors can tour the treehouse on weekends and experience drinking cider in the one-of-a-kind-bar.

The treehouse will serve drafts that include the classic crisp apple cider, the stone dry cider, two experimental, limited-release single variety ciders, and the 2016 farm cider. The first treehouse event will be a tasting party for the Walden Hollow cider, coming up soon.

Catch this sweet episode of Treehouse Masters tonight, which will feature Walden Orchard, located in the heart of Hudson Valley in Walden, New York. Click here for a summery cocktail, perfect for days when you want a little twist to your bottle of cider.
