Beer Alert: The NYC Craft Beer Festival Is Coming This Weekend

Love beer? Looking for an opportunity to sample more than 150 beers, ciders, and meads from 75 different breweries, all in one place? Then get ready for one of New York City's biggest annual beer events: The NYC Craft Beer Festival, coming to the Metropolitan Pavilion this Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25.

The festival will be spread out across three different sessions: the first will be at 8 PM on Friday evening, the second at 2 PM on Saturday afternoon, and the third at 8 PM on Saturday night. For $55, guests will receive a two-ounce glass and have unlimited access to beer, mead, cider, and a handful of liquors for about two and a half hours. For an extra $30, you can purchase a VIP ticket, which will get you in an hour early and give you access to a VIP lounge.

If you go, be prepared to be in a room with about 1,200 other beer aficionados, and be prepared to expand your horizons, as there will be plenty of beers here you haven't seen before. These beers are from craft breweries turning out much smaller production than say, Budweiser, and expect plenty of spring seasonals. Food will also be available for purchase.

We'll see you there!
