We Used The New Brownie Batter Oreos For This Brownie Recipe, And It's Amazing

Oreo enthusiast eagerly anticipated the launch of the new brownie batter Oreos. So, do they live up to the hype? Oreo isn't a stranger to adding new flavors. Over the years, they have released red velvet-, birthday cake-, and even pumpkin spice-flavored Oreos, just to name a few. But this brownie batter rendition might take the prize for the most successful Oreo flavor yet. The prospect of a long life on the shelves seems like a real possibility, if the laudatory acceptance of the new flavor is any indication.

If we are going to have this brownie batter cookie for a long time to come, there is only one thing to do — add it to a brownie. We decided to take the brownie batter Oreo to new heights with this Brownie Batter Oreo Cookie recipe that embraces the chocolatey-brownie flavor of the cookie for a double-chocolate brownie with an added cookie crunch.

You can simplify this from-scratch method with your favorite brownie in a box recipe. Just preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and mix the batter according to the package's instructions. Next, pour half the batter into the bottom of the pan. Line the pan with half of the package of Oreos and pour the remaining batter evenly on top, covering the Oreos. Finally, bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Bake for less time if you like your brownies slightly under-baked and fudgy.
