San Diego Food And Drinks Festivals

Who doesn't like food and drinks? I mean, besides the fact that food is what keeps us alive (literally), it's also something that can be enjoyed in a pleasurable manner and not just for survival reasons. That's one of the main reasons why chefs like experimenting with food and why expensive restaurants exist, consumers demand high-quality products to eat while also having a good time with friends or family. While drinking too, of course, that's also pretty cool. So, if you happen to either live or be around San Diego this year, then it is highly recommendable to go to one of the festivals which will be mentioned in this article. Don't know how to move around San Diego because it's your first time there or don't have a car? No problem, just request a San Diego airport transportation online and you'll be able to get to where you want in a jiffy! Anyway, here are 5 festivals in San Diego that you don't want to miss:

1- CityBeat Festival of Beers Whether you strictly like craft beer or any other kind of beer or own nothing but malts in your fridge, the CityBeat Festival of Beers is perfect for you. It features over 100 different beers produced by local, national and international breweries. The festival also includes great live music performances and, of course, a lineup of food vendors. What kind of food, you ask? Go and find out, and buy something for me while you're at it.

2- I Love Poke Festival The annual I Love Poke Festival in the "tubular" San Diego, California, is a delicious culinary celebration of the native Hawaiian seafood appetizer, poke. No, not poke with a stick. This event features chefs from around the country showing their versions of the Pacific Island treat as well as dishes of their own. Oh, and there's also Hawaiian music and dances.

3- Encinitas Rotary Wine & Food Festival The annual Encinitas Rotary Wine & Food Festival is a culinary celebration that happens to include exquisite glasses of wine. This event features more than 20 local wineries and 20 local restaurants serving desserts and signature dishes. Also featuring live performances by local musicians.

4- Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival Yes, you read that correctly, Wine, Cheese, & Chocolate Festival. Sort of sounds like a combination that you would probably make when it's a weekend and you're bored in your house so you think "You know what? I think I'll drink some wine, eat cheese and chocolate while watching Netflix, I mean, it's a Saturday and have nothing to do, so, I'll do whatever I want!" But seriously, though, this festival is a daylong event featuring some of the finest local chefs and winemakers, it celebrates the talents of the San Diego culinary scene and provides guests with samples from said local chefs and winemakers. I think with the name of the festival alone you don't want to miss it.

5- Chula Vista Lemon Festival You like lemonade? Well, then you can come to this event. The Chula Vista Lemon Festival is an annual celebration of, well, lemons. The festival features live entertainment, arts and crafts and a Lemon Pie Eating Contest. Sounds delicious, right? So, there you have it. If you stop by San Diego, be sure to go to any of these festivals! Because if you don't, I will find you and I will....... invite you to these festivals.
