Check Out Taco Bell's Airlift Commercials

They airlifted 10,000 tacos to Alaska. Of course they're getting some commercials out of it

Last month Doritos Locos Tacos slingers Taco Bell decided to airlift some 10,000 tacos to the small town of Bethel, Ala., population 6,200. And naturally, they didn't do it for nothing.

Sure, the chain soothed the town's anger after being hoaxed into thinking Taco Bell was coming to town, but who says charity has to be a one-way street? Eater brought these series of commercials to our attention, and the first (and best) is an epic narrative arc complete with Explosions in the Sky-esque instrumental sad music making the distance to Taco Bell seem so incredibly painful, and the airlift so incredibly heroic.

Watch below for quotes like "This is like heaven on Earth," and "This is my all-time favorite," and "Yes, today was a very good day in Bethel." Who knew Doritos Locos Tacos could be so dramatic? Head on over to Eater for the rest.
