What makes this coffee shop so great - besides its delicious coffee - is its great venue. There's free wi-fi, the staff is very friendly, and the ambiance is very comfortable. Come here with work to do; you'll get a lot done and can enjoy a great cup of coffee or two.

Foursquare Tips

  • The coffee is smooth, the beet salad is amazing, and the house-roasted meats are turned into sandwiches like lamb-and-polenta with mint chimichurri and portobello mushroom with thyme-infused cheese.
  • I went to check out this new place, a friend of brother recently opened the cafe (this past Monday in fact). I have to say the coffee is really good and tasty. Service is friendly. Free wi-fi a plus!
  • Locally owned and operated, Chava Cafe is one of my favorite local places. Get there early, because the muffins are homemade and go quickly. If they're out of muffins, grab one of their sandwiches
  • Chava is having a soft opening today. All food and drinks are free! (also, the place is pretty cool!)
  • The cappuccinos here are the best. Nice little menu of food made in house too.
  • Really fast free wi-fi, lots of places to sit and excellent customer service.
  • The coffee here is wonderful but the tea program is a truly special treat. Be sure to get all the infusions your tea can bear.
  • The food was delicious, but expensive. Same with the coffee. Wifi was solid, good place to get work done. Very friendly staff. I like it.
  • great little place, bright and airy. great clover coffee.
  • They do not serve breakfast but do have a good lunch menu. A bit sterile with friendly staff
  • Amazing mocha's! Nice balance of chocolate and espresso. I recommend the pork belly or B.W.T. Bacon watercress tomato sandwich :) moreover the service rocks!
  • The food is carefully crafted, the red lentil soup is awesome, the tuna melt is great...
  • I like everything on the menu. Good veggie options and great house coffees.
  • One of the standout coffee shops worth a visit.
  • Great food, friendly staff, intelligentsia coffee! :)
  • Great place to study. Bright & sunny. Multiple steeps on teas. Avoid Sundays, when it is crowded with loud ass people. Early Saturday afternoon is ideal.
  • Great sandwiches and salads.
  • The coffee is smooth, the beet salad is amazing, and the house-roasted meats are turned into sandwiches like lamb-and-polenta with mint chimichurri and portobello mushroom with thyme-infused cheese.
  • Great rotating list of really interesting veggie sandwiches. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
  • If you are serious about coffee/tea, ask Rich the owner about new arrivals and what's coming soon. Let him recommend something. You'll try some of the best drinks in your life. Ask staff too! :)
