Celebrity Chefs Flaunt Their Craft

Celebrity Chef Tour heats up the kitchen at Linger in Denver for its next Dinner Series on Wednesday. Joining chefs Samm Sherman and Justin Cucci of Linger are five culinary talents from across the U.S.

With all proceeds benefiting the James Beard Foundation, the Dinner Series events are monthly dinners held at a different venue across the U.S. to encourage top chefs to flaunt their cooking craft.

Chefs joining in the culinary creativity include Erik Skokan of Black Cat Bistro, Frank Bonanno of Mizuna, and Amanda Cohen of Dirty Candy along with Daniel Asher of EcoChef Services and Ann Cooper, who is also known as 'The Renegade Lunch Lady.'

Scrumptious offerings of the night include Bonanno's fettunta with fresh ricotta, lava beans and mint, Asher's heirloom beet borscht cheesecake with pistachio medjool date crust, and Cohen's portobello mousse with grilled portobello and peach compote.

For $150 guests get an innovative eight course meal paired with eight wines and three Belgian beers along with an exclusive peek in the kitchen to view the cooking techniques and styles of participating chefs.

Upcoming Celebrity Chef Tour events will be held at Tom Colicchio's Riverpark in New York on June 27th and Joseph Decuis in Roanoke, Indiana on July 12th.
