Foursquare Tips

  • Great views! Check out the pond behind the Castello!
  • Fantasia - a sparkling red!
  • This is a gimmicky winery with a fake castle. Wine is only "good" because it's in a castle.
  • Gorgeous castle and winery in one! Sign up for a tour and tasting that will take you from the vineyards to the torture chamber to the tasting room.
  • The castle is beautiful though a bit of a tourist trap. The reds may not please those who like full-bodied wines, but the desert wines were great, especially La Fantasia, a sparkling red.
  • Disney of wineries. Beware.
  • Beautiful views and the castle itself is pretty, but the wines aren't amazing. A bit of a tourist trap..
  • Definitely pay for the tour. You get to go into secret areas. Buy the chocolate & wine tasting package. Great & unusual place!
  • First Winery that I have been to that ALL the wines they had were GOOD.
  • Gorgeous Castle with lovely details. Patrick our tour guide was awesome. La Fantasia is amaaaaazing. Walked out with 3 bottles
  • , .
  • Great views! Although felt like the time square of napa with all the tourists.
  • More touristy. ..they sell bunch of tourist crap..but castle is nice and very interesting. .bunch of tasting areas with head set/microphone on tasting staff.some cool animals and odd looking chickens.
  • Total tourist trap. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon and better wine, go down the road to Sterling.
  • Total tourist trap. Grounds are nice but can get better wine elsewhere.
  • The view is amazing. I love the sweet wines especially the La Fantasia. My daughter loved the grape juice as well. Next time, we'll do the full tour and visit the dungeon =)
  • Great wine and the castle takes you to Tuscany
  • This place is amazing!
  • Loved the Castle! Had a barrel tasting in the dungeon. VERY Nice
  • Good wine and amazing views. The castle tour is worth the price. A must-see in Napa. Getting the passport is also worth it to save money on tastings from several wineries.
