Foursquare Tips

  • Featured in LA Weekly's "30 Burgers In 30 Days"
  • This place is a hidden gem among a lot of just okay restaurants. Burgers and sandwiches are tops. Fries are crisp and yummy even when delivered.
  • This breakfast sandwich has that 1950's look and taste. Good stuff
  • Try the double cheese burger
  • Pretty sure everything is delightful
  • Love the old fashion classic diner decor, especially around the holidays! Diner's been around since the 1940s. But the cheeseburger was underwhelming--good but not good enough for a return visit.
  • Burgers, onion rings, fried chicken... This place is the bomb.
  • In this hotel lobby diner, you can start your morning the right way with an avocado, fried egg and spicy mayo sandwichserved in a hash-brown bun.
  • This modern, airy space captures the zeitgeist of fast-casual cooking with moderate prices in a flexible space. Come for a well-grilled burger or tuna melt, and stay for the excellent house-made pies.
  • Great Breakfast to start your day.
  • Their signature potato salad is the best I've ever had
  • Burgers, tuna melt, shakes, sasparillo, has tv and a small bar for games, and a nice whiskey selection.
  • Try the han & grilled cheese Sandwich
  • Burgers & sandwiches are pretty good. There a few hard working staffers carrying the load of the slackers. It's clear who's working and who isn't. If they drop the dead weight, it might merit the $$$.
  • It's divisive; but I gotta give the horseradish potato salad the thumbs up.
  • Small menu; I ordered the egg salad & that wasn't the way to go. Stuck with the burger and the AMAZING house-made sodas.
  • Go for the Patty Melt with Swiss and one of the amazing house made sodas!
  • No one does a Tuna Melt better than Cassell's in K-Town. It's made by poaching tuna slow and low instead of boiling it, rendering the fish super juicy and fall-apart tender.
  • Not the same old Cassell's everyone knew; this pretentious iteration of Cassells is the former restaurant in name only.
  • Everything!
