Foursquare Tips

  • The yo-yo gets a sugary makeover at Caracas. Sweet plantains are fried in a cinnamon-spiked plantain batter, then theyre stuffed slightly chewy, fresh cheese and served with honey dipping sauce.
  • #TREATYOSELF . . . to MIMOSAS! Passion fruit mimosas here will make you never want any other kind again. Cheers to bubbly!
  • Fried plantains with cheese and basil mayo. The end.
  • Charge your phone while you eat with the solar powered charging station on the boardwalk side :)
  • Booze is a littler pricier than I would have liked, so grab some delicious arepas and plantains here and then head to drinks afterwards.
  • The sugar cane lemonade is unlike any lemonade I've ever tried. Unique but tasty.
  • Try the Pabellon.
  • Arepas are fresh and delicious but the coconut smoothies are heaven
  • the same Caracas you'll find in Manhattan, but with an ocean view! delicious!
  • Awesome arepas! Live music is fun but makes it hard to grab a seat.
  • Get a Narraganset tall boy for $5. Drink most of it. Get a passion fruit mimosa, drink a little of it. Combine.
  • Yummy frozen pia coladas but insanely long wait time for food on Saturday afternoon
  • Try the coconut smoothie
  • The perfect way to end a day at the beach
  • Arepas were very good, and the frozen cocktails are delicious..try the empanadas and the fried green plantains
  • Just as good as the other locations . Laid back, outdoor seating. 100% corn arepas. Plantains a must! Try the sugarcane lemon drink. Enjoyed dj Afro on a Sunday afternoon.
  • Expect long wait times with only 1 cashier taking food orders. They have to improve on that. I tried the pabellon. It's juicy & messy, but the Arepa didn't fall apart. Good flavor & will try another.
  • Arepas are the best
  • Grab a beer and some arepas - tasty veggie and bbq chicken. Don't need to go far right on the beach
  • The coconut smoothie is a great way to wind down a day at the beach.
