Foursquare Tips

  • ! 12 13 ! .
  • Ask for a bushel of blue crabs and haggle with the guy selling it to you. We paid only $85 and got our crabs cooked! :)
  • Great, inexpensive seafood right on the water. Opt for the fried platter which gets you two fried fish, a crab cake, and two sides.
  • Best place in DC proper for steamed crab legs or anything seafood. Reasonably priced and made to order seafood. Stand up and eat by the water on a hot summer day!
  • Call in your order, faster service...
  • Don't go anywhere else!!!
  • Try the Jumbo Crab Legs
  • Everything is great. But there is no place to sit down. Yes there is a stand to eat area
  • Hidden gem in DC. They steam crabs just off the boat for your immediate delectation. Best deal on oysters anywhere.
  • They have the fattest, most juicy fried oysters. Mmmmmm!
  • Get the 2 dozen medium sized blue crabs & you get 1/2 dozen more free!
  • Come back and try the greens.
  • This place is amazing!
  • Decent prices, great crab. Paid $135 for a bushel. The crab was some of the best I've ever tasted. Perfectly steamed by Captain White Seafood.
  • Great soft shell crabs and scallops! Reasonably priced!
  • Today (May 12, 2016) the crabs were nearly empty. Not the dealer's fault bit is recommend waiting a couple weeks to buy live blue crabs
  • Everything is great. But there is no place to sit down. Yes there is a stand to est area
  • Live lobsters and blue crabs. You'll probably get more for your money buying a lobster instead of blue crabs as much as I like blue crabs. All the vendors here charge essentially the same prices.
  • Looking for Maine lobsters? This the one stand where you'll find them on the wharf.Often you'll get more for your money buying a lobster here than buying blue crabs, as much as I like blue crabs.
  • Fried catfish was delicious! The people behind the counters are so nice!
