Bring Chefs Into Your Home for a VIP Party
New startup creates the restaurant experience for you at home
Want to throw a classy dinner party, but don't have the culinary skills to pull it off? One new startup makes it easy to entertain at home, VIP style, by bringing restaurant chefs into your home. Kitchit, with markets in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles, lets you essentially "rent a chef" for the night to create a restaurant experience in your home. Founder and CEO Brendan Marshall explains that Kitchit gives you direct access to these world-class chefs, going beyond the four walls of a restaurant. It's part of the growing trends of supper clubs, pop-up restaurants, and food trucks, he says.
